Harman & Bhavjinder – Lifestyle Portrait Session
Posted on September 29, 2009
It goes without saying that, if you have a shoot with Harman, you’re going to have a fun time.
I would have loved to shoot Harman and Bhavjinder’s wedding, but was unfortunately already booked for their date. So Harman asked me to take some portraits of them before their wedding and I was happy to do it. I’ve known and been friends with Harman for a while and so when it came time for their shoot, I was prepared for some comedy and entertainment. And here’s what resulted. Enjoy!

Soni & Ram – Lifestyle Portrait Session
Posted on September 11, 2009
Vancouver Canuck fans, I warn you. The following images may shock you. But I promise, the Soni & Ram are still super cool even though they like the Edmonton Oilers. ;)
Soni and Ram are from Edmonton and they just looove Vancouver. So much that they flew down to Vancouver just for their Lifestyle Portrait session. Soni said she wanted some shots of Vancouver’s skyline and some shots by the ocean. And that we did. We had a fabulous time and I had an even better time at their wedding in Edmonton. I’ll be sharing those images with you guys soon enough. In the meantime, enjoy!

Jennica & Jeff
Posted on August 19, 2009
Let me tell you a little of what’s been going on the last two months before I apologize for not blogging for a long time…
First, my sister-in-law Pavan got married, which was followed by my wife Gurjeet and I going to Europe for about 12 days. And then, I had to travel a little bit for a wedding, followed by my brother’s wedding. That was then followed by our 1st wedding anniversary weekend. And so here we are. Within that time, mix in some weddings and portrait sessions, too. So, I apologize, but I hope you can understand why I haven’t been sharing some wedding and portrait stories with you all.
Anyways, let me tell you about Jennica and Jeff. I met them both while working at Vancouver Film School. They are both phenomenal writers for the marketing department, but also have achieved amazing things in their more personal writing careers as authors, poets, and screenwriters. Have a peek at Jennica’s website and see the amazing things she’s been doing. They are both such smart and friendly people that I was incredibly happy to be shooting their wedding.
And so, when it came time to the day of their wedding, I could tell just over the phone when I spoke with Jennica that morning, even before I saw her, how happy she was to be getting married. This sure did rub off on the people around her, as the spirit in her apartment that afternoon put smiles on everyone’s face, and it made my day to have such a happy and beautiful bride. Looking through all of the photos, it’s difficult to spot any where she’s not grinning from ear to ear. I’d never seen Jeff as happy as he was on that wedding day. His joy in getting married and his love for Jennica was obvious to anyone who saw him. I see it in every picture of him that day.
Thank you Jeff & Jennica for a wonderful day. Your wonderful and kind families made the day one that I won’t soon forget. I feel fortunate to have been able to share this day with you.
